Benjamin Franklin smoked, haven't you seen How High? ;)

On a serious note, he did smoke opium, so I wouldn't be surprised if he smoked pot. Probably for medical reasons though.

Well,it seems to me that it's just another scam on the american people--that is,our tax money. It's great for the economy.Look at all the bureaucracies the "war" maintains.More police, more dea, more prisons, more border patrol, money for anti drug ads(tv revenue)ect, ect. Why would any of them want to end it???Not to mention it sometimes (countless times, actually)leads to a gain in consciousness, which in turn allows people to SEE how things in govt and life really lay out.Not allowed to SEE behind the curtain.Nice read turkey.

the drug war is just another excuse for the government to excercise their control on us

    Hey Turkey Stuffing:

Enjoyed your post tremendously. Exceptional points all.

Perhaps if pot smokers were shipped off to Guantanmo Bay, then our activists
might give a shit. Seems you have to be wearing a turban to get any sympathy these days.

^^Along with what everyone said, very nice, Turkey. This quote came to mind when I was reading this; "Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves" - Ronald Reagan.

The part I think is even funnier, is that, it isn't like people consuming drugs aren't paying taxes, with exceptions, but if we are paying money to such a great nation, then why are we forced to keep certain chemicals out of OUR bodies? Doesn't make too much sense to me.

I only got satrted reading, going out shortly so I'll finish later but I gotta say. Buying drugs doesn't support terrorism, buying fake nikes does.

i just skimmed thru it, b/c you didn't say anything that i don't already know

however, i dug your Jesus rant

and completely agree (mainly, b/c it also is something i already knew/thought)

but it was my favorite part

yet another reason to support our american farmers!

    boycott imports and smoke homegrown.

Save the planet, smoke some of the best weed on the planet (grown in north america) and save your money for munchies.

granted, I'm being tongue in cheek here, but turkey, I agree with you, and found it a well thought out and laid out read.
