I'm just wondering how many people have actually seen the movie trainspotting. Basically Ewan McGregor is a heroine addict trying to get clean. I just watched it and really liked it and wondered if anyone else had actually seen it.
Yeah my first time I watched it while seeing how far I could go with vodka and I don't recommend that.
Amazing movie. Definitely a 5/5. The book was amazing too (if not even more). If you liked the movie and you enjoy reading, I totally recommend checking out the book.
When that baby was on the celing crawling like a fuc*ing spider,, that took my stoned ass mind for a loop...LoL
yeah.. i only saw this movie once & i was wasted. didn't like it too much maybe because i drank half of a 1.75L of crown before/during the movie
Trainspotting is one of my favorite movies. I have a Trainspotting poster in my room (one that has the beginning narration of the movie written out, "Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career..." etc.). I've seen it many, many times. One precaution about reading the book (which I would definitely recommend, books are always better than the movie!), is that it is hard for Americans to understand. In parts of the book (narrated by Renton, I think) Irvine Welsh writes phonetically to exaggerate Renton's Scottish accent. It's not an easy read, but very rewarding if you manage to get through it and understand it. My favorite scenes from the movie are when Renton goes into that disgusting toilet, and when he meets Dianne. Or how about when Tommy and his girlfriend find out their sex tape is missing? Hahahahaha.
Great movie, watched it many times. I also red the book and I found it pretty amazing how they got such a consistent storyline out of it for the movie. Very welldone in my opinion.
This is one of my three favorite movies, it has such a re-watch value. So many great scenes and lines, and I thought all the actors did a great job. Like others said, the book is fantastic too. At first glance it is like a foreign language, but after the first few pages I was already quite accustomed to it and loved the accents it put into my head. The sequence when he's locked in his bedroom and has to quit cold turkey is probably my favorite part. Pure insanity and a great job by Ewan McGregor
