Yesterday I found two dead mice under my fridge :(

So yesterday my roommate and I got back from some sale on commercial drive and we're like "Fuck we should clean this apartment, cuz it smells." so we start cleaning, and I get up on the cupboard to put the cereal in the cupboard above the fridge and notice that the smell is coming from behind the fridge.

I decide to pull the fridge out to investigate. We find no source of the smell, but we see a bug and upon closer inspection we find that it is indeed a mature maggot. we scream like bitches. sadface.
We decide to kill said maggot and move the fridge back with hopes of calling some proffessionals in to take care of it and we discover MORE MAGGOTS and you could kind of see a mouse on the side..

So we put an ad on craigslist.com to get anyone to help us and my roommate gets ahold of our manlier friend. She happens to be a lesbian and my roommate is a gay man . So she comes over and takes care of everything like a friggin pro and we're like we love you! and so she leaves and I put the fridge back in and FOUND A SECOND MOUSE!!!!!!! but thankfully no more maggots.

So I had to take care of the dead mouse. it was horrible.

RIP Julio and Julio II. < we kept seeing a mouse in our apartment, and we always thought it was just one because he looked the same, and we named him julio the second mouse was a surprise

 

The Maggots are a good source of protein, why did you get rid of them?

Is it really all that horrible? You could have found them inside the refer instead.

 

A friend of mine had a hamster who went under the fridge once and never came back.

Apparantly the fridge is where rodents go to die

And I probably would if I had lice but I don't. I don't see it as a loss really

 

Not just the fridge...
This week I was preoccupied looking for my spare work pants and found a mouse squished under a couch cushion instead! He was squashed flat...and hadn't been there too long cuz he wasn't stinking up the house yet. Poor little guy. At least he was comfy on my couch until the last few suffocating seconds!

Mice are cute though.
Im glad we've never had mice or the like.
We did have ants though.
