What do I do about a "friend" that I can't stand and can't seem to get rid of? I feel really bad that things aren't working out, but if I have to spend one more minute with her, I think I'm gonna go nuts!
We met when I was a freshman and she was a senior... about 10 years ago. She tracked me down on MySpace a few years ago, and things have gone downhill ever since.
We're so different now, that almost everythings she says and does makes me crazy. She's what most people would call 'emo' and I'm a bit of a hippie. She never has any $ and, I swear, she thrives on drama... and My Chemical Romance IS HER LIFE. She's not honest. More than once she's made Dunkin Donuts coffee at home, put it in a DD container that was in her car, then take it back to DD saying they screwed it up... and they'd give her another one free. I get embarrassed when we're out somewhere and I see someone I know from work, and they see me with her... and she's goin' on and on bitchin' about anything and everything. (Did I mention I work with preschoolers?)

I tried being downright evil once. She got pissed... but she forgave me. Dammit!

We're so different now, and don't see eye to eye on a lot of things anymore. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of her?

Be honest. I know -- easier said than done, right?

Be honest with her. Be gentle... and say good bye.
