i dont know how many people here have heard of a 'tenna' a 'tenna' being under a gram costing $10 i have been thinking to myself " how much under a gram is a 'tenna' and is it normal for dealers to deal 'tennas'? " i have heard of alot of Younger dealers using the term 'tenna' but when i ask older bealers that i know, they say " wtf is a 'tenna'?" so im a bit confused
In the UK a Tens is a 1/16 of an ounce I think and it costs £10. Don't know how many grams that is..... I don't buy them often so I don't know.
if you dont know what 1/16 of 28 is.. you're a retard.. and have probably been ripped off plenty of times
tennas, ten sacks, dime bags, half-dubs... whatever your local name for $10 worth of weed is just your dealers way of being able to fuck you over...
Tennas, dubs, 10,20,30,40, etc "bag" are all slang for "I'm selling you shitty ass weed at an even shittier price". Tell your dealer that you buy grams and ounces. You expect your product to be weighed in front of you. Some may even smoke a bowl with you once you become a regular customer to show you that the weed smokes good. You have the right to say no. Tell your dealer if he likes to pre-bag all his shit before he "hits the streets" he should probably start selling crack.
It's just a way for your dealer to rip you off. Never buy in 10, 20, etc bags, buy in weight. And any good dealer will match you with joint/bowl to be smoked before you leave..
I don't buy Tens so have never bothered to work it out. An 1/8 is about 3.5 grams. I'm not a complete moron. So a Tens is roughly 1.75 grams- but as I said I don't buy Tens.
Or is it the customer's way of screwing himself for not being able to save up enough money to buy a decent bag? Dealer's screwed either way he goes. If a buddy comes up and wants to bum a joint or a bowl pack, and dealer says "no", he's a stingy sonofabitch, if he agrees to sell some stupidly small quantity at a price he thinks will guarantee that you won't come back till you have some real money to spend, he's trying to rip you off.
