She's really creative and crafty. She doesn't like to wear jewelry. She's not into fashion. She loves to do stained glass, potery, and glass bead making. I was thinking of getting her some glass rods to use in bead making, or some stained glass. Iono, I think I will get her some stained glass but I have to find something really good that she will use and not just keep, and thats hard. Iono, what should I get her?
Buy her glass... Do you have a glass warehouse near you? They have some really neat pieces. Buy her a sheet of something she wouldn't normally buy, maybe because of cost or something. Or if you dont have a lot of $ to spend on glass, they do have scraps of the good stuff too.
My mom hates anything with a sent, it gives her head aches, she's weird. My sister and her boyfriend and I are going down to Old Town Saint Charles this week, there's a glass store there. I gotta see what they have, i don't think they have any good pieces though, because she stopped going there. Either that or because the other store is closer, iono.
Don't buy her anything...tell her you stopped celebrating birthdays cause everyone does it and you want to be original...then buy her a gift about a week later and tell her you got her this gift cause you love her..
I did say gift up in my earlier post..but I do retract, because I also think gifts are pretty lame and usually pretty useless to the reciever..plus, I don't celebrate birthdays either, so it works out pretty well for me.
Maybe you could bake her something delicious, do some chores she always have to do, and then even buy her some glass, or clay or something sweet like that.
But this is flann, we're talking about, we should encourage her to stay away from stoves and the like... I kid... I'm telling ya' just write her something, that's the best... Words last a life time, material items don't.... I wrote my mom something once, she threw it in the trash ....
Get her a two foot vibrator and when she opens the box and looks like she disapproves of it shout "April fools!" and show her the four foot one you were hiding behind your back j/k
