Oh and I'm not assuming they think I'm hot. Even if they thought so, it wouldnt mean anything cause you dont have to be sexually attracted to every person you consider hot.

haha well at this point in our friendship, I just wouldn't want to compromise losing their friendships in the off chance (the REALLY off chance) that we hook up and having things not work out. I find it difficult to go back to being friends with someone after I've been romantic with them.

Funny you say that because recently I was dating this guy and he's never really a guy I go for. He was this white-collar, corporate android and I wasn't really attracted to him facially (I'm more attracted to faces that I am bodies), but for some reason I wanted to rip his clothes off ALL THE TIME, lol. Helped that he had a nice ass and arms to boot... rawr, but yeah, I couldn't explain why the attraction was so fierce, but it was. Needless to say, it didn't work out because we were way too different in A LOT of ways, but it was an interesting experience to say the least.

 

Yah, but I'm about 99.9% sure they feel the same way. I highly doubt they are attracted to me in that sort of way.

hell, even my ugly female friends become attractive to me; i wouldn't befriend them if there wasn't something about them that attracts me.

 

LOL I wouldn't say I'm ugly or unattractive, but I'm just sure they aren't attracted to me sexually. We have great conversation and a general good time together as just friends, and that's fine by me as it is by them.

 

well i don't claim to know your situation (well i may claim to, but i really don't)... so what makes you so sure they aren't attracted to you. just because you have fun together as friends? i know i can have fun with my female friends platonically, and still want to sleep with them at the same time...

 

Because I know the type of girls they go for and I'm not it, that's all. My whole life I've been kind of the girl that guys always see as "one of the guys" because I do have a lot of "guy type" hobbies. I play video games, read comic books, watch sports, I even check girls out for them when we're out hanging out because I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality and myself where I can say, "Damn that girl's got a nice ass". They see me as "one of the guys" but they know I'm a girl so they come to me for all their girl-type of advice. It's cool, I don't mind it and I go to them for all kinds of guy-type of advice, so it balances itself out in the long run.

you could very well be right. but i for one like a wide variety of "types" and even if i did typically go for a certain type, that doesn't mean i have no interest in other types.

i mean, they're your friend for a reason. it could be that they were interested in you but since you aren't their usual type they didn't know how to go about courting you...

and you pretty much described yourself as the perfect girlfriend... most guys prefer a woman that is a bit like one of the guys, and women that claim their male friends are not interested in them due to tomboyishness almost always have a long line of suitors that their friends all hate, mostly because they're jealous

 

I don't know, I'm definitely not the perfect anything (but who is?). I'm pretty awkward when it comes to guys and meeting guys. I have a hard time getting close to people who aren't already in my life, but that's something I'm working on for sure. I haven't been in a real relationship in a while (a while being 2 years ago, my last 2 bf's didn't last longer than 2 months and I've just been casually dating since). I get really shy around guys I don't know, so who knows at this point what kind of guys are interested in me, lol I sure as hell don't.
