Actually I think there's something in the hair colour thing.
Lots of places have the bottle /natural blonde stereotype - and its not meant to be derogatory.The "London blonde" is a typical type , as is the new Eastern European blonde and the "Essex blonde"( ok thats the exception: ))

I've got black hair and think I follow the black haired stereotype - mysterious /uncommunicative and driven with things/ success orientated , not overly outward.
Light haired people seem to like socialising /communicating and going out more.
Oh and some people say theyre stupid ; )

Altho I'd never say that ofcourse... : )

 

so, what does it say about a brunette who's hair went from light brown to black then was dyed red because it looks better?

light brown she was sometimes fun , sometimes stupid but not really sure what she was.
So in search of a powerful new identity , she died it black and became a typical goth.
Black haired , she became reclusive , mysterious and self harming , but actually very intelligent - seeing the universe in all its complexity

One day in her black walled goth's lair , the infinite complexity of the universe made her mad , and she smashed up the mirror.Before using the shards to cut her wrists while she was listening to miserable Goths music , she saw a blinding vision in that mirror .

Instead of looking pasty faced , and consumed in her own hatred of society's prejudices , she would rid herself forever of the brunette- blonde dillemna.
She would become a gingernut - and bin the Goth's pacifist philosophy to beat the living daylights out of anyone who dared say that gingers had a short fuse.

Sounds fair and balanced eh? : )

 

i didn't dye my hair black. it turned black after i had my first daughter. but the black hair made me look seasick. so....except for the temperamental redhead bit, you're totally wrong.

Actually if the hypothetical had died her hair platinum blonde , where I live , it would have meant she liked getting "tag teamed" ( I've no idea what that means btw) by the local West Indian football team(s).

Platinum blonde is my favourite , altho if its too platinum it can look like someone's grandma.Which can cause problems if you're out pulling while on acid.

( Infact there's still a banning order against me setting foot in the street where the local retirement home is..)
