if that is wax in ya hair or who evers hair that is it needs to go like right now and r they twisted or wat?

 

they look like twists maybe held together with wax/ if so ..do the wax removal i posted..in the sticky icky wax thread..
they will become dreads in time if ya leave em be once u get all the yucky wax out

Well, that could be the hair texture to be fair. My friend's son has hair that twists like that naturally, and if the spirals were backcombed would probably closely resemble that.... However, I can't tell if there is wax or not in those.

They look like how they twist them for African American hair at the salon. Not a big fan of the twists for caucasian hair...my 2 cents. ...they are a bitch to maintain - as only wax can really hold them together when you do them like that. Try backcombing.
