So I've been known to steal alcohol occasionally from meijer just so me and my buds have something to party w/. Anyways last week I was in meijer buying a lighter and these cops come up to me and tell me they need to talk to me in the back. Some lady at the store recognized me I guess and told some cops that were there. We get in the back and they show me pictures of me and my buds stealing alcohol. Now if getting theft wasnt bad enough I've gotta pay for the alcohol we stole since I didnt rat them out and I have to pay $100 as an apology in 30days or its $300. Now if ALLLL that wasnt bad enough I had 5grams of some chronic bud I justt picked up and I got charged w/ marijuana pocession. Ha and if you dont think all that bullshit is bad. Im on probation currently (just pocession of marijuana) so I violated my probation and these offensives happened in a different county so that means I've got more fees and bullshit to pay and I'll likely have a second probation officer. I have to go to court next tuesday :/ im not sure what to expect. Whenever I hear theft and getting busted w/ pot for a 2nd time... its usually not a good outcome. Plus I'll be 18 here in a couple months (sept 21). If they wanted to fuck me over bad im sure they could attempt to trial me as an adult. But if they dont... which im pretty sure they wont be able too just because my lawyer wont let them I might get off easy. I mean Im sure I'll get bullshitted to hell and back w/ probation restrictions (like already there taking away my permit and its even before I've gone to court and have talked to anyone) but as soon as I turn 18 I will just talk to my lawyer and see if he cant get everything dropped as juvenile bullshit and then I'll be free and clear. thats my busted story tho. beat that. also. the cop fuckin took the lighter I bought lol. He took my bag and lighter. and when I asked for the lighter back by saying "sir may I have that back, its not illegal" he said "no, I need one" and walked out. fuck the police.
why the fuck would you go somewhere you have stolen from before?? dumbass... you're story can't be beat unless someone turns themself in.
ok thanks to anyone that will even read this and i appreciate it but man heres a story that i am NOT proud of.. ive been caught with a knife on campus and then they kick me out and i went to another high school but im such an idiotic child that i was still selling and shit and i got ratted out they arrested me and sent me to the halls then gave me house arrest probation community service and AA and NA and suspsended my driver license for a year and now im going to court because im a stupid fuck i got caught with public intoxication i was passed out and i have family problems i will not say but its really bad..it is terrible but man i just finished driving classes did my permit attending in car classes and practicing in the car to get my driver license but i was scrwed with this court letter 3 months after this happened i really regret it and i changed and matured like taking care of the family studying a job so i can help out and working and taking care of the house but now i gotta go to court and i gotta hope for the best and be prepared for the worse..probation 6 months driver suspsension 1 year community service 25 hours na and aa classes again and more if it really goes bad got a attorney 2k but my family is in debt im trying to change after that incident but its 2 late now im going to court next week i really messed up this time please dont tell me how stupid and idiotic and such a immature 17 year old i am because ive done alot of thinking and alot of changing i dont even hang out with the people from this incident to be safe but i gotta fix my life before i turn 18 in the spring sorry for all this shit you had to read but ..not good and to the thread starter man you gotta think of where all this is going before its 2 late everyone hope you have better luck then me

I think it's funny when kids think they are good at stealing. NO, you are not good at stealing, the store just has such limited rights to stop you, you think you are good at it. Get a job in retail and you will find that most people working in the stores won't give a fuck because half the time if they try to stop you, they could possibly lose their job. I worked at Best Buy and witnessed a lot of theft there. The funny thing is, we couldn't stop them unless they complied. We had no rights to physically touch them, we could not detain them in the store, and we could not use surveillance/monitor cameras because of some law. The only way you could get caught stealing at Best Buy is if you accept to go into the back room with them. You can refuse and they have to let you go. You can also find yourself in the back room, ask to leave, and they are required to let you go. The only times you can not leave is if a police officer is there to detain you officially. Citizens can not detain citizens.
