Putting Ice in my Bong?

I have a smaller water bong and I'm wondering if you can put ice in any bong. Small ice chunks will fit. Can I do this and about how high up should the ice go? Do you guys find ice works better or worse then water? And also for the winter, what about snow? I've heard it works but I don't know...

 

Ice, yes. Snow, no. Well when I put water in my bong I don't go more than a 1/4 of an inch above the bottom of the slide. You don't need a whole lot of ice either. 3-5 cubes is what I usually put in it.

 

Snow doesn't really work too well, he's right. But, if your bong doesnt have an ice catcher, you should be careful. Ice changes the temperature of the glass and cracks it sometimes. That was the fate of my bong thanks to my stupid cousin. RIP Captain.

 

I lean towards acrylic due to that. My glass bongs always get broken by my dumbass friends.

 

My bong has about inch-thck walls and is glass. Do you think it'll be okay? I've put fairly cold water in it before and it's been fine.

 

That only happens if you have a crappy bong.

also, you can get pneumonia from ice hits, the ice sublimates then the vapors go into your lungs.


so like most things, use it in moderation.

I have often put one or two ice cubes in a water filled bong- just left them floating on top to cool down the water.

 

nah sara it was 5 fuckin stories. We stood on the fire escape in down town stl. It was fuckin hot. You'd use walkie talks to communicate it was great took so much weed to fill the chamber

I know there is a 2 story bong at a party house at NIU and they have a hole in the ceiling so you can hit it from the 2nd floor of the house. I think it would be all too insane.
