What sort of Ambitions do you have?

You are hoping to use higher education to acheive some goal. What do you consider it to be, ideally?

I've went to college to simply please my family before, then I took years off. My "career goal" is to one day have a family, be a mom, and a wife. So now that I know what I want to accomplish in life, I attend classes that I am actually interested in without the worry of receiving a degree. It makes me much more happy. eace:

 

no, because my primary reason would be to get into a field that i really love. and the only way to do it is with a master's degree. :tongue:

To circumnavigate the earth on a sailboat. I love to sail and that actually probably is going to happen. Other than that to see as much of this planet as I can, meet as many people, experience as many cultures, thoughts, beliefs, traditions etc... before I die. Money doesn't mean success to me in the slightest bit. To have a successful life is a happy one, and money along with other material things only brings pleasure, not happiness.

 

I voted "to get ahead, and get by." I'm not so worried about making a ton of money.
I just want to be able to support myself and get by, and ultimately support my family and children if I have children.

 

I feel that I've just started to climb the mountain of knowledge. Of course, I tend to be like a crow: there is no shiny piece of information that might not be useful someday. But bottom line, I want to learn as much as I can and share it with those who have questions...yes, some day I will be a professor.

I selected to "Get ahead and get by," but my main reasoning for getting an education is to help create a positive future for our society and get people to think for themselves. I'm an education major.

I want to finish school successfully, then i want to go study philosophy..and thats all for now. Overall i want to be independent and not to feel dependent on someone else but me.

I voted for fun, but actually there are all sorts of things I want my career to fulfill, I want it to take me all over the world, to help me meet many interesting people and make any difference wherever I am....
As long as these goals are fulfilled, money would come by itself...

 

see i picked to create a new theory or method that makes you remebered but that dosent mean i cant have fun right?:cheers2: i mean my real dream is to study religion and teach people about religions how they interconnect, and how we arent really different after all. hopefully ill even show people that there is a religion or belief system for them!
