Best way to get resin

i'm dry, and i'm trying to get resin out of my bong, whats your favorite technique to collect resin. by the way it's a plastic one, i dont' know if that makes a difference.

 

Id have thought the most effecrtive way would be to soak the piece in alchohol, and get all the resin out, break it up, then boil up the alchohol. but i dont think anyone does that and its not good for plastic.

i have a hose as my stem, i jsut get a screwdriver and scrape it all out of that.

 

use a straightened out hairpin and just scrape at it.

 

DO NOT use alcohol on a plastic bong, as it will weaken it and cause cracks.

 

A candle is best. Heat up all parts and scraoe with sharp object. Be careful not to scrape (and smoke) the plastic, wood, etc. Leave no area unturned. Then try not to barf when you smoke it.

try a rivet, you can get them at any store w/ a hardware section, usually near the screws/nails

 

sift your water like dump trew a sock or a strainer you would be supprised how much un burnt smoke is in it

 

well i got a bag last night so that doesn't matter. and jesus don't you people read the whole post, it was only like 1 sentence. I don't know who did but someone told me ot heat the bong up with a candle, i said it was plastic, don't you read.

 

anyone desperate enough to scrape resin out of a fucking bong to smoke is a fucking skid and should be shot, like seriously u cant afford a fucking joint?

 

theres been times where i didnt know anyone to get weed from so i've scraped resin before

 

dont smoke then simple as that, resin is dirtier than oil.

ive not done any follow up on this thoguht but shouldt, in theory, resin be healthiert than normal smoke anyway? caus the tars and stuff wont exactly burn twice, but the thc thats in the resin will heat up and be released. wheneve ri smoke resin, it jsut glows red hot and the smoke comes out, but it doesnt appear to burn really...

 

If you smoke anything out of a bong think about it this way...the spliff is nasty and black, the bong water is gross and the reservoir is probably tinted brown...but the neck is probably spotless--and your lungs are too because you've gotten the crap out before it reaches your organs.
And about resin--ain't nobody above it, and if you think you are, you ain't a true stoner. Sure, we'd like to be smoking fat, purple BC buds but sometimes you just gotta put the knife to the bowl and scrape you some tar. Smoke that shit!

enlarge the product picture to see the pipe properly, the bottom comes off as shown in the pic.

 

here's my logic w/ resin, you inhale the smoke through the pipe, some of that smoke you would end up inhaling anyway sticks to the sides of the pipe, after it collects for awhile there is quite a bit of thc in it. Try sticking a nug in the chamber of your pipe for awhile and smoke it, tell me that it wont be more potent after going through 1/8 or a 1/4

 

My friend used to have a chillum. It's just a straight pipe with no carb.Resin would just build up in that thing like no other. After a bow or two you would have to wipe out the inside becuase there would be so much. Sometimes while smoking the resin would work its way to the mouthpiece and you would get resin in your mouth. It would make my tounge and lips go numb.

And I agree with brokenwingz, a pipe with a resinating chamber makes the pot so much more potent. It's great.
