Hair removing cream. Go over the whole thing with a trimmer first to get off the bulk of the hair, then apply the cream all over. Follow the instructions carefully, don't leave it on too long and don't get any on the glans.

I wouldn't advise hair removal cream personally. I tried Veet, and it burned like Hell for days afterwards - mind you, on the instructions it does specify that it should not be used for pubic hair use.

Shaving pubic hair is not as tricky, or risky you might imagine. Although not strictly essential, it does help if you trim it first to minimal length using personal grooming shears (although I have known these to occasional nick the scrotum slightly when used without a guage comb).

Then, soak in a hot bath for a while, apply plenty of soap (when shaving in the bath I've found standard bath soap better than proper shaving foam, as shaving foam disappears too quickly in such circumstances). Work up a good lather, massaging it well into the skin.

I've found the best type of razor to be the single blade disposable type, such as Bic Orange, for sensitive skin (I try to avoid the multi blade ones as the gap between the blades always get choked up, causing more problems than they're worth).

Using long, light strokes firstly either follow the grain of the hair, or go across the grain. Don't apply pressure - just allow the blade to find its own contour.

Usually, simply stretching the scrotal skin, or pulling it taut over the testes is all you need, but I did see a documentary once about tattoos, where there was one guy who had tattoos on every part of his body, including his scrotum, and although I find the very idea of any tattoos very distasteful, I did find his technique of keeping the skin tight enough for tattooing very ingenious - he simply stretched it across the back of a standard kitchen wooden spoon which, although I've never used it, I've always thought would also be an ideal utensil for pubic shaving.

Using the tips of your fingers feel for traces of stubble & go over them again until you get that baby smooth sensation to finish off.

When you get out of the bath, I personally like to apply a dusting of baby talc - others prefer to use baby oil - just a matter of personal preference.

When you start shaving you may well find you experience itchiness for a while afterwards, but once you get to shaving regularly you skin becomes accustomed & the opposite becomes the case, so that you only experience the itching if you allow it to grow.

On the whole, shaving once a week is plenty to keep it smooth. If you choose to allow it to grow back, it will take about 6 - 8 weeks before it grows to the point that it can be accepted as being a close trimmed length, rather than an unshaved stubble.

As a general observation, it is my opinion that it is probably the Internet that is directly responsible for pubic shaving becoming increasingly popular in personal grooming, not only in women, but in men too. Only 15 - 20 years not only would it have been considered very flighty for a woman to shave her pubic hairs, but for a man to do so - that would have been nothing short of weird. These days it seems to have changed from the degree of being a taboo, almost to the point of being the norm.

And the more often you do it, the less it will bother you. It can be itchy at first as it starts to grow back.

I have the same problem...use 1 blade razors for sensitive skin. I find trimming with scissors before hand the best bet...but yes, you have to be extremely careful...not trying to scare you or anything, but I once cut my scrotal sack a bit using scissors...I lived...
