The water here in Melbourne isn't to bad right from the tap. We have a filter in the refrigerator and the water coms out quite tastless.
Try some water that's been run through a carbon filter, such as Pur. It doesn't taste like anything. I've had friends tell me that there is something wrong with my filtered water because it doesn't taste like anything. I tell them that proves the filter is working very well. Distilled water in a plastic bottle usually has a taste to it due to the plastic. .
Certainly taste the differences in water. I can't stand drinking water out of a tap, or bottled, but I love Rain water.
where i grew up, the water tasted a little like weak mint tea. which is to say it tasted wonderful; for water. well that was way up in the hills, and above were lots of people lived, so it was fresh from the melt and filtered naturally from the melt flowing over moss and mint. bottled water just tastes like the tap water that it is. but even that is better then the taste of floridation that you get in some cities, where they probably have to. floridated water tastes to me like ocean water. not the kind of salt like in soup, but really bad. fortunately where i live they don't have to do that, so it just tastes wet. when i put it in the fridge, i always keep a couple of pitchers of it in the fridge, i put a little drop or two of fresh squeezd lemon from our lemon bush. well actually every year when we harvest it, we squeez and freeze a ton of it, enough to last the whole rest of the year. haven't had to buy lemon in the store for several years now. =^^= .../\...
Tap water? You'd die. It has salt and other impurities. The impurities are common in the water. But if you used RO water, you could sit in the bathtub with a toaster. And I'm not saying this because I want to kill you. I don't want to make your name literal, so don't try it.
RO Water....hmmmm...I'll try that trick on my girlfriend (as a practical joke) next time she takes a bath Note: I'll fill the bathtub in advance with RO water without her knowledge Hotwater
I don't think that'd go over well. You can also stick a fork in that bottom round socket. It's a ground. I do it every now and then as a party trick.
nothing like water that has been filtered with a reverse osmosis and UV filtration system. We have one at work and it's the coldest best tasting water I have ever had.
Except NYC They flooded and entire town about 100 miles upstate to create a reservoir! I forget the name of it but I think its off of 52. The clean Catskill water is part of the reason NYC pizza is so damn good. But here in Poughkeepsie the water comes from the Hudson and they have to add so many chemicals so it doesn't kill us that tastes like shit.
