I saw The Black Knight yesterday.
It's actually really good.
Not a BOOM BOOM CRASH action movie.
It makes you think.

i'm looking forward to seeing it. someday when i'm not poor as fuck. literally. i think i'm gonna have to fuck to afford another meal. not really... i hope.

but yeah... i really wanna see the movie, in the theater. good thing it's doing well, means it'll stay in the theater a while, lol! i haven't seen a movie in the theater for a looooong time. since like, transformers or some shit. damn. i need to get out more.

 

i saw Wall-E a couple weeks ago. it's really good if you're into animated pixar movies (which i am).
it has a very relevant green message.

 

Transformers was pretty good.

But seriously, all Heath Ledger parts I was just "What the fuck?! !! " He was awesome, really got into the role.

What do you do, work-wise at the moment? I hope your troubles get better soon.

wandering... i love animated movies, and pixar does some really good stuff. i loved monsters inc!

i love heath ledger. i think he's a phenomenal actor, and i've loved almost all the movies i've seen him in. he just chooses interesting and unpredictable roles. or i guess i should say chose. i was so sad to hear that he died. i was really looking forward to seeing more of him.

oh, and you asked what i do... well, i work for a company that i disagree with ethically. i work with adults with developmental disabilities, which i've done before, but this is a new company (i just moved to california a few months ago), and i didn't realize before i got hired that this company is all about trying to make the clients fit into "normal" society instead of allowing them to be themselves, and it's hard for me to handle working there, since i love the clients but hate the way the company goes about working with them. which is a long way of saying, i hate my job, so i try to work the least amount of hours possible...

but this past week, someone we thought was okay with us paying them on a payment plan suddenly changed her mind, and demanded a grand in cash in two days. we came up with the money, but now we have pretty much nada until i get paid again, which won't be till aug. 5th. so things are tight. but it's all good... things are going in a better direction soon.

sorry, didn't mean to rant about all my woes. lol... oops

 

It's the dark knight, not black knight. Treehugger, why don't you just quit? Life's too short to work in a job you hate, though most people end up doing that for most of their life anyway, sad reality.

I hurt today, played 4 baseball games yesterday, jammed my thumb during the last game and it is purple today. Also the rest of me is pretty sore.

 

Well right now I am in the Jungle in Central America.

But I have a satellite link to the Net.

I imagine lots of people are on vacation.

I have been busy smoking grass and bar hopping as well as being an apparent "contributing member of society'.

Next month I start a 4 month vacation!

 

because at the moment, we need money BAD, and it's all that was available in the shitty job market in california. i do plan on quitting... very VERY soon. just waiting for the right opportunity. which means having a little more money

but we both just finished massage school, so as soon as we get practicum hours done, we'll be able to get well paying jobs as massage therapists. it's just what to do for money until then... which is why i'm working a shit job for the time being. it sucks, but that's life.

 

i was out cold asleep at the time of the original post. right now i'm busy trying not to go nuts.

 

i really need to start keeping the kinds of hours the rest of you folks do. this having to get up in the morning shit sucks ass. blech.

well, off to work for another evening. after sitting in a work meeting all morning. have i mentioned how much i hate my job? lol

anyone want to volunteer for me to practice massage on them so i can get my certification?
