Yes it perfectly ok in my opinion. Then again are people that would disagree, but its all about personal choice.
thanks for your opinion greengirl my friend used crochet method in my dreads.. they are just 4months. what do you think?? [/IMG]
crochet pokes holes through dreads holes rip hairs apart breaking dozens or more with each and every hoile u poke overal weakening the dreads ..this maY SOMEDAY CAUSE BREAKAGE..AND WHY DO IT? LIL VANITY OVER A COUPLE LOOSE HAIRS THAT WILL GO WHERE THEY WNT TO ANYWAY IF JUST LEFT ALONE? damn caps..srry
in my opinion, crocheting is kind of pointless. loose hairs will get sucked up into dreads and tighten up over time. it just takes patience.
but here in the philippines, almost all the dreadheads here use the same method as i do.. and turns really nice when their dreads mature..
My dreads matured so faster just because of the crochet method. They become thicker and stronger. You just take in the loose hairs and by that you are helping the dread develop. But just like i said its all about your personal choice, no matter what you do eventually your dreads will develop on their own. Its inevitable. The thing you must know is that this method is not that needed.Personally i like it and prefer to do it every now and then.
Crocheting works fini I think just like felting, BUT not too often. Causes breakage, especially felting. It does help when you want 'em to look neater. It seems as though theymight mature faster, but that could be the illusion of the neatness
wise words, though as I was reading your reply it's as if you went on and started shouting, and i was very heh funny caps button.
