thank you.. no kids dont steal.. hell in most towns one need only to walk the roads for a day to find 60 bucks worth of beer cans..small amounts of copper can be found in old electronic equipment and appliances as well.
as far as where to sell it,look in your yellow pages under recycling or scrap metal..

that IMO is the easiest way for a kid to make extra cash with scrap prices being what they are..

also,they give almost a dollar less for copper if its not clean so take the extra time to strip the covering off the wire if you were to run across any in the trash or out of old electronic devices or appliances..

 

and plasma. plasma is far less than whole blood but plasma you can donate one or two times a week(dont remember how often),whole blood is only once a month.


i dont know what they pay nowadays,a few years back it was like 15 for plasma and 40 for whole blood.

 

some asshole was caught on camera out here stealing copper wire from the RTD commuter trains. the wires that make sure the trains dont crash into one another, no less.
but recycling aluminum cans can give you lots of $$, ask your parents to buy you soda, or ask them to drink more beer. RINSE and collect the cans, crush the regularly to save space, and turn em in. if you dont rinse them you'll get bugs.
offer to do odd jobs for your parents first, before the neighbors. like weeding the garden, almost anyone will pay you to do that, its such an annoying chore. just buy some gloves, some weeds are prickly, sticky, or so rooted that you'll need a firm grip.

just think of the things no one wants to do, and keep that Oz in mind
