Why Do So Many Dudes Hate Cats?

Lynsey~thanks for your really cool honesty! So girls aren't always thrilled to be around a cat either. It's not just the dudes. I'm learning lots of things here.

I'm sick of those trendy new names. What ever happened to Matthew, Christopher, Michael and Jonathon?

Now it's a "black kinda thing" naming their kids these goofy-ass names

 

i love cats.. at home with my parents we have 7.. never really intended to have that many, just kinda happened.. just happened to find 4 week old kittens in a puddle of mud in my backyard.. and i love all of them.. and me and my gf also have a cat, his name is riley and he has feline lukeimeia.. and i love him to death.. and he is the most loyal animal i have ever had.. the second i walk in the door, he comes running over to me, and stays be either mine or my gfs side all day, and everynight, from the moment i go to bed to the moment i get up, he is right there snuggled between mine and my gfs legs.. i honestly don't know what i would do without him.. cats really are great animals..

 

The laws are getting pretty strict in certain states now. Back in the old days.... there was always some brain dead dude on the block bragging about how he had killed a street cat over the weekend, etc. Now you can do actual jail time. If you are legally an adult. So street cats are a lot better off than before.

Once I was drunk at a party and I went outside and down into a weird cellar to throw up....the next day I noticed that I puked right on a dead cat, i felt that i was cursed.

The landlord had killed a cat and put it down there to scare the other cats away.

HWF~a dude that actually likes cats! I knew there had to be one or two out there! LOL. Yeah, I think cats can be just as loyal and friendly as any dog. Sometimes more so. That's why I just don't get it when some dude says all cats are the coldest of creatures, etc. Maybe if a cat can sense you don't like it, then it will act totally cold towards you. Just a thought.

I absolutely detest dogs, but I'm not a dude. I'm particular about what cats I like too, though. I don't like anything that wants to sit on my lap all the time and be petted. It annoys the crap out of me.

I think there is a stigma with cats being feminine, that's probably why so many guys prefer dogs.

Because I hate them. Dogs are better in every way.

 

I'm a guy and I hat e dogs because they bark and slobber all over the place. When I was a kid, my best friend owned a dog and would always pee and shit in the house. If I had a nickle for every time I stepped in a patch of pee. And sometimes I'd find dry, hardened pieces of scat under the couch or arm chair while we were playing with our action figures or something and I though that that was totally gross. I still can't figure how the dog managed it, but they were certainly there.

I've always been a cat-lover. I just find cats to be better pets, more suited for a household environment, more refind, graceful and quiet.

 

I am definitely a cat person.

Cats ate my house rabbit, cats slowly kiled my two giunea pigs. Cats like flies will always survive, thats why I hate them, they win regardless !

I hate cats. I hate them so very, very much.

 

I think the reason I probably feel that way is because the first cat I ever had never really wanted to be petted. She was a snooty red persian. Best cat in the world. Got her for my 15th birthday.

She was so spoiled that she freaked out when I got my own apartment at 18 and tried to take her with me. So I had to leave her at my parents' house. People kept giving me cats after that, and they just weren't the same and they drove me insane. So I gave them away.

Because it never really bothered me, I decided I should probably never have kids. If they wanted attention, I'd want to give them away. Ha ha. It's terrible, I know. Can't stand clingy boyfriends either. That's a surefire way to get dumped by me.
