Am I psychic? Can I read/project thoughts?

Well I don't have much time but I am going to try to sum up some things that make me think I'm psychic.

• Almost every SINGLE TIME I am thinking about a phrase or part of a song, someone around me starts humming or singing it
• I enjoy magic/card tricks but sometimes I mess up some tricks where I am trying to appear as if I am psychic but, the trick ends up working anyways (like I guess the card they were thinking of) even though I didn't do the trick right...Doesn't happen all the time though
• I finish peoples sentances alot. Even if I just met them.
• I can tell what mood anyone is in no matter how hard they try to hide it, even if Im only talking to them on the phone or AIM or something
• Sometimes I'll have dreams about things I've never seen/heard of before then the next day I'll see that thing(s) on tv or somewhere else for the first time (besides in the dream)

There's more but I am a bit stoned at the moment and also I have to do somewhere but I'll add more later.

 

To me it seems like you're either psychic or observant, lucky, AND you have a habit of remembering coincidences.

I don't know much about the entire subject though :/

 

I'm pretty mutch like you and experience all the things you've mentioned. I consider myself more 'intuitive' but yes in essence we are picking up thoughts, impressions and energys and incorporate this information into what we do and say and think about. We all do this unconciously but sometimes we become more concious and recognise what is happening as it happens and we start to see how it works and knits together. We can do this because we are spirit, and in spirit nothing is separate ... so we know. Our bodies confuse us and say we are separate and contained but we are not.
This;

does suggest that when talking to people you can quickly empathise and understand ... read between the lines and pre empt them. You're using your intuition and feelings and perception and totally soaking up information as it surfaces in your concious awareness. So basically you're looking within also ..empathy. At our core we are one with everything, literally, we are the conciousness that is concious in everything, so on that level, when meeting someone it's like truth talking to itself. On an energy or astral level our whole energy fields connect and knowledge passes that way, and on the physical level we go through this charade of waving our hands about and using words.

... an odd random thing happened at work this afternoon. I've been watching a few episodes of Dr Who recently and asked at work if anyone had been watching it ...especially the last episode where he dies and regenerates ... becoming the 10th Doctor!. Well nobody had been watching it *sigh* but a few moments later i walked outside and into a dining room and found a picture of Dr Who on the floor?
So i'm kind of amused by this but of course wondering why ... am i gonna regenerate i wonder?!!

 

synchronicity, not psychic

 

Synchronicity is possible because of the psychic leads we follow, whether concious or unconcious it doesn't matter. So synchronicity is all about psychic.

 

I do not believe in co"incidence, so I think you do have some sixth sense abilities

 

The word coincidence literally means an incident with.

Well i'm sure synchronicity doesn't just happen for no reason
I like Jung although never enough to go read up on him a great deal. Thats an interesting page, particularly:

My theory is basically that we are all linked through 'the one', kinda like my 'higher self' (the part of me which IS totally in tune with the universe and knows exactly what needs to be done) ... is the same higher self as everybody elses. So it's this guy/gal thats really running the show ...and it's easy to arrange such things as coincidences and synchronicity.... just a little prompting is needed.
But i agree with Jung that there's an acausal principle ... a thought, an idea, a purpose, most often unconcious to us, which is born in our minds and we act upon it.

Some examples of synchronicity in my life; A couple of times i've taken a sick day off work for whatever reason (not sickness obviously) and i'll be out or the phone would ring and i'd meet a good friend i hadn't seen in ages ... well worth taking a day off work for and it wouldn't have happened otherwise. Because things need to happen or we'll all get really bored ... and thats the way i see it basically, ... the world needs to go round and if things never deviated from the norm there would be such limited opportunity for great, synchronicitous (!), coincidental things to happen. Eh? No magic. No trust. And thats why we need to take the rough with the smooth ... and make allowances when people call a sicky. We can all work around it because we are all in this together.
I remember one time in the pub with Sharon, who worked there. We were all going to leave and go to her place, where i'd never been before. Before we left, i figured i'd steal a teaspoon (i'd had a coffe) and just give it to sharon when we got to her place (stupid idea huh!?). However the strange thing was when we got to her place i walked in to her lounge to see her teaspoon collection on the wall ... wooden racks with loads of different teaspoons. I found it all quite funny and wierd because it was one of my earlier experiences of synchronicity and also 'knowing something i didn't know'. It's a great example of synchronicity and how it works by 'acting on something we don't know about' LOL ...So somewhere along the line ... sitting in the pub 'Teaspoon' came into my mind ... and because myself and sharon are connected ... are one in spirit, then unconciously i know full well that sharon has a teaspoon collection. Yet i did it all unconciously.
Other fun examples are when you just happen to have some odd, uncommon item on you that someone just happens to need, ... like a pair of scissors, or a blowtorch, or a pair of socks. It's so mutch fun to go "Blowtorch? ... here ya go!"

But in short, synchronicity is what makes the world go round, it's cause and effect, need and fulfillment of needs, it's about resonance and networking, and like a script ... a condition is met and an action happens. And it is many more things but it's strange ... in a normal mundane world, for most, these events are probably the only time (outside of falling in love and stuff) most people experience something magic and odd, if they care to dwell on it. I'm sure alot of what we do is all part of a bigger picture and events happen as they happen and thing 'seem' normal, yet sometimes it's hard not to notice when synchronicity seems to solve things. ... like we needn't have worried.

 

If only I could go to England, you'd be an interesting one to share conversation and coffee or tea with...

Always it seems i can never find people in my personal daily life to talk with on deeper levels.. mutually. And thats why i'm here ... to talk, and share.
I've been here at hip forums for about 6 months now and i think it's excellent and there's probably about 15 or so people here (and you're one of them) that i find pretty interesting folk ... sort of like minded... people who go their own way rather than follow the dogma of religion and traditions ... people who realise it is within themselves and completely natural. But also i like to cross cultures to get a good overview of what people are believeing in, so i'll go spy on the buddhists and pagans (but not christians although i think Jesus was a total master).
But in my time here i can see a certain ammount of resonance and mirroring going on .... people are sparking off eachother and working things out as slowly but surely we help eachother to raise our awareness. And even with people very new to their own awakening i can see inherent wisdom 'from the mouths of babes'.

I'd also love to chat away in person to some of the folks here... such a small world, but so big too eh?

i did psychic evil just once . it was childishly drunken stupid , of an irresponsible insane fearful emotional thought that struck like the hammer of Tor a gentle giant man who was simply passing by . i got repremanded immediately . i am still very sorry .
