ok then well here goes... im a 18 year old guy n well i have a problem which is driving me insane!! well basically i cant feel anything when i masturbate....i started masturbating frequently for the first time a couple of weeks ago n i masturbate nearly every day and when i first started, i could feel the sexual build up(its the onli way i can describe it lol) n every time it got 2 much that i stopped b4 i ejaculated...but recently i cant feel anythin n well its causing me 2 lose interest in sex...i mean i dont have a orgasm...the onli feeling i get is when i ejaculate, but thats it, i watch porn when i do masturbate if that would have anythin 2 do with it...n i dont think it has anythin 2 do with masturbating to much as i stopped for about 2 weeks 2 c if that would solve it n when i started masturbating again i STILL could not feel anythin! its got so bad that i dont have much interest in sex as i think that its pointless as i dont feel anythin even though i still try. I am realli worried as my gf and i r planning on having sex for the first time together soon n i want 2 sort this out quickly b4 we do for the first time. i also think i suffer from PE, hypersensitive glans, and wat i think is phismosis coz i cant seem 2 b able 2 retract my foreskin fully back(onli half way) i thought i would just mention that in case any of those mite have sumthin 2 do with this problem. but i think this is a much more serious problem n i want 2 sort this out b4 i sort out any of my other problems... phew! thanks very much 4 readin n any help would b much appreciated!
Honestly with the list that you've put up there, I'd go to a doctor to talk about it. At your age you should be able to pull your foreskin all the way back, and if you can't you may need a cream to help the skin losen up. Sorry, I'm not a guy, I hope I helped.
Mikey - Your lack of feeling in your penis may have something to do with your phimosis, the inability to retract the foreskin all the way back from the glans whe erect. Sometimes this is cured naturally as you mature, but at 18 you should be able to retract it fully. Is the problem a tight foreskin, or is the frenulum too short (the stringy thing in the "inverted v" on the underside of the glans)? The tight foreskin may be fixed by taking a hot bath and then applying a steroidal cream such as hydrocortisone (available over the counter at your pharmacy) to the underside of the foreskin and the glans and gently stretching it back, for a month or so. If that does not help, see a urologist to have the problem evaluated. You need to have the problem fixed before you get active sexually. PM me if you want more private advice, I have advised a lot of young men with this problem, and helped them.
hey, thanks 4 ur responces, well i tried retracting it back in the bath (when flacid) and i got it back further than i got b4 (which was evident from the build up of smegma)...but im worried if i retract it fully, that the foreskin will become trapped behind the glans and tryin 2 wash the smegma is proving difficult as i have hypersensitive glans i thought that my lack of feelin mite b due to the phismosis alrite, but when i first started masturbating, i could ehhh pleasure myself without retracting the foreskin at all so i dunno... i am going to try and stop masturbating for a few weeks anyway and work on these problems and hopefully i wil have a stronger sex drive again after a few weeks but i am still clueless about this lack of sensitivity, i have read that some ppl say that it mite b due 2 diabetes and i realli hope that it is not the case ...
yea i will go 2 c the college doctor when i go back 2 college in september, because i will feel more comfortable if i didnt know the doctor. in the mean time i will practice what cutted has advised. thanks
Mikey - ignore that Sarah woman behind the curtain, and listen to my words of wisdom. No, I am not urging you get circumcised, but that you try to cure the problem yourself before going to the doctor. Do this by not just trying to retract the foreskin once in a hot bath, but take a long soak in the bath, dry off, and then apply a steroidal cream to the glans and underside of the foreskin and gently pull it back carefully to see if you can retract it over the glans. Do this daily for a month or so, and see if the problem is helped. If not, see a doctor. Most doctors are used to dealing with problems like this, but if not, the doctor will refer you to a urologist. And make sure you try to regularly clean the smegma off your penis - it can cause an infection. Don't ignore the problem - perhaps 5-10% of uncut guys have your problem, and some of them go through life like this, and have less than good sex all their life.
Go to see a doctor. If he advises circumcision go and get a second opinion. It's your penis not the doctor's and it's you that will have to use it for the rest of your life. A forum such as this one is not the place for these kinds of questions. I had phimosis, but stretching solved it eventually. If you want any advice drop me a PM though bear in mind that I don't log in here often.
