Yes, they are good. If you like them, then a lot of other things on the Neurot record label that would appeal to you as well. Also, check out Hydra Head Records for other metal bands in the same vein.
Neurosis is allright, its too brutal for my liking. Also, another label that has good post-rock: Translation Lost featuring Rosetta, Mouth of the Architect and others.
