washing just my scalp

i dont understand how to just wash my scalp and not my dreads.
anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I would suggest a toothbrush, but I don't have dreads or anything....I don't know if that helps.

 

Just go at your scalp with your fingers and wash it! haha, and just move your dreads out of the way you'll got it its easy.

 

just lather up and rub your fingers on your head. it really doesnt matter all that much, just dont be pulling the knots apart or anything.

 

just concentrate on the scalp, then ther soap rinces through the dreads ..
insteead of getting the whole length of em all soapy and scrubbin em all the way doiwn you just wanna get your fingers at the scalp and get that good n clean then rince it all the way through...

i just dontwant them to fall a prt and iknow its important to wash thescalp.
cause im lazy as shit and only wash my head like once a week and a half & dont wanna mess up the times i wash.
