I'm not sure if it's just me, but as an animist I feel closer to plants than animals. After all, next to the sun they're my food source! They don't speak our language, but if you pay close attention, you can feel the plants communicating with you, not necessarily with words but... well I'm sure you know what I mean. They offer medicines, shade, materials for tools and shelter. I love plants (but I'm also a botanist, so mileage may vary :D)

So if you agree with me, what's your spirit plant? And hey, nobody ever said you couldn't have a spirit animal AND a spirit plant, so let's all join in!

Mine has to be Cannabis. Not just because "it gets me high mannnnnn" but it truly is a jack of all trades.

Seeds are highly nutritious, fiber is very strong and durable, amazing medicinal benefits, psychoactive compound to keep you in touch with the Gaian mind, and it grows pretty much everywhere.

Cannabis is what sent me on my spiritual journey, starting out as a born again christian, and becoming an animist and studying ethnobotanist! :cheers2:

I definitly hear what you say. i also feel such a spiritual connection with plants. I don't have any in particular plant but i definitly feel that special bond and can feel the connection as well as communication. I find with my garden and growing vegetables that I ask the plats themselves what they need to strive instead of relying soley on books, and it has been working wonderfully.

It's weird, last time, when I was, tripping, with DXM, I did have a spiritual connection with a tree. After this, it has been mine, spirit tree...
