when i move into my new, bigger bedroom, i'm going to get a spider plant and an aloe vera plant so any info you can give me or even suggestions of different plants i would appreciate it. also... my bed will be taking up the space nearest the window, sadly there is no other place to put it so i can't place a plant really close to the window unfortunately but i do LOVE plants so any help would be good. thanks!eace: -alison
Edit: Yay... I mentioned it to my mom and she said her "boyfriend" has lots of spider plants and she said a few of them have babies so I'm really glad about that! so if you have any tips on how to care for spider plants that would be great! and if it matters i'm going for a relaxing zen feel to my new room it's already a nice deep red color that i'm keeping so suggestions for other plants would be great... i already have a fishbowl with bamboo, and a bonsai tree so something a bit bigger, like basketball size or bigger would be great!
I have three cactus plants in my room. They're small and cute, but im a mushbag and whenever I'm reaching for something, I grab one of them. OUCH.
hahaha i LOVE you! i think i'm just going to go to a garden centre and see what i can find... then i'll just look up how to care for them... now i just need to find a good one... not wal mart, haha i went there last night and everything was all gross and half dead! the aloe plants were all broken and half brown... f*ck wal mart haha the only thing they know how to do is make cheap aldo knockoffs...which i DID buy
My dad is an avid gardener/horticulturist and he hates aloe vera, he thinks they are an abomination. Aloe vera is easy to grow, but place it in a good sunny spot.
