so we FINALLY talked to the vet this morning, and found out how she's doing. it turns out that we were all kinda right in a way. the good news is that she tested negative for feline leukemia. it also turned out that she was pregnant. unfortunately, she had an infected uterus, which wouldn't exactly be the best thing for kitty kat fetuses. so the vet went ahead and spayed her, which meant we had to get rid of the kittens . but the good news is that since he spayed her, he was able to clean out her infection. so she is up and about, and eating well so that is also good. he wants to keep her another night (she's been there since wed.) to make sure there isn't any complications, and we can pick her up tomorrow! i'm so glad that she's gonna be ok...she's too nice to have her put down. and since she's gonna be ok, we went ahead and named her. actually, my sister named her Liadane, which i guess means "grey lady" in gaelic. but for short her name is Lia (pronounced Leea). so we're all happy
that's really sad that the vet had to get rid of her kittens, but it was for the better, because she is going to be healthy now you should post some pictures when you get her back!
