Last semester, my friends and I started lounging around the common areas of our school. I skipped more classes than I'd like to admit in order to remain outside on a balmy day and stare at the clouds and the trees... In fact, one of the reasons I'm looking forward to school this semester is so I can ditch class on a beautiful autumn day and enjoy the pleasures of the green grass and the blue skies.... Anyone else have stories like this? Or any other way the enjoy a quick relaxing moment or two at school?
Ive chilled with one of my guy friends behind a storage area on campus. We ditch tutorial and lunch and just layed down on a jacket and looked up at the sky. It was great.
Ditching in high school was great... I had a few of periods of theater every day during junior and senior year, so I would wander campus with friends a lot. I don't know what is more fun, ditching class in high school or doing it now in college. Both different feelings, but both great! This is not to say that I don't like school, because I love it (most of the time). As much as I love class, I equally and paradoxically love ditching it. Enjoy the high school ditching years, SamanthaJean!
I did not do well at my old college due to too many days spent hanging out in the lobby instead of the editing lab. I loved sitting outside and enjoying the SF weather. Smoking my ass off while skipping didn't help my studies at all. But I know at my new college I'll do much better. And I relax at school by reading a good book, taking a deep breath, or listening to my music.
i used to always fall asleep on the amazing couches in the library between classes my first semester my first year, i was very "spiritually aware" and/or "spiritually enlightened" and i'd have all these crazy partial-lucid dreams while i slept on the couches i'd always go to class in a half-reality was crazy shit
