and I can barely walk. Woot. Did you know it's illegal to plant cotton at your house in the state of South Carolina? I remember hearing that from a girl in elementary school when she brought part of a cotton plant to art class. I have no idea if it's true. Edit:The cotton is because of a wound already on my foot. The cotton makes it easier actually.
I was walking on hot pavement on a 101F day and burned the bottom of my foot and it blistered actually and I popped it and stupidly got the skin off.
Damn, that's a bummer. I've never burned my feet. Now, black-top's get pretty hot and uncomfortable in Texas heat, but I've never had a problem. Best of luck & quick healing. ~Namaste~ PS. Not all states have laws regarding their state flowers (California for example).
Yeah, but I'm a broke ass. And I have to pay for some detox this weekend. And also some Knotty Boy wax. Gotta get them dreads goin' before I start work. ;]
oh.. just to grandma's... walk then DO NOT PUT WAX IN YOUR HAIR.. IT WILL NOT DREAD IF YOU DO... read this: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/forumdisplay.php?f=209
I had already read through a couple posts on the Dreadlocks forum, and it seems the wax issue is just a personal opinion. I know five people who used wax and it turned out great. Now, I know not to use a lot, but why should I not use any at all?
it clumps up and STOPS the dreading process. think about it.. wax does not move.. it just will hold hair in one place.. you want tangles.. you want that hair to move. seems people that use wax have the most problems down the line and people (such as myself) that use nothing have the nicest, fastest forming dreads. i'm doing the all natural thing.. i just rip and separate the dreads when they need it.. thats pretty much it.. and they look pretty awesome if i do say so myself.
