depends on what I am doing. When I am doing my portaits on scratch board, I listen to who I am doing.... right now, Im working on Jerry Garcia.. thus, Im listening to grateful dead..... as of lately, when I paint, I have been listening to The Infinity Project.
Yeah ^^^ I usually listen to music that I'd associate with the painting...if that makes sense. Sometimes pictures 'sound' a certain way..or remind me of a type of music, and I feel the need to listen to it
Kyuss is sweet, I usually just listen to either post-rock (isis, kinski, mouth of the architect, etc.) or good ol fanishioned rock and roll from all different time periods.
I've been listening to a lot of Infected Mushroom and Psy Trance lately. But it does depend on the feel of what I'm working on.
Yah, same, I do mostly portraits.. which are mostly of musicians, I was drawing freddie mercury the other day, so I listened to queen.
Recently, I've been listening to Marilyn Manson a lot when sketching. But if I'm listening to my music on shuffle, then I'll draw when inspired and stop at that band. Like last night, I was trying to get to sleep, but Metallica smacked an image into my head and I turned on the light and drew it out! Awesome. Haha.
I listen to music fromt the "The Phantom of the Opera (1987-2004)" and alot of other Andrew Lloyd Webber related music while I write, paint, act, or make masks. All in all I'd say Opera and/or Jazz.
listen to 'the red paintings' theyre really theatrical and eccentric their live shows consist of painters, painting on stage to the music they play so it was pretty much made for this reason dresden dolls are good too
