...always feel humble when you look up at the sky.

Stop, and look at where you are standing and wonder if someone has stood there wondering about you too.

I love to look up at night........the best is a clear summer night,no moon and a night where the northern lights are drifting

I've seen the Northern Lights once. They looked almost exactly like that. :)

I would love to see the Northern Lights.
I like looking up into the sky when it rains, it's very refreshing.

I got buzzed last night and started reading about galixys, groups, clusters, the know universe, the universe and multiverses.
Realizing how small we are is truly a humbling experience.

The stars are not above you anymore then they are below and all around. They are home.

I shed a lot of cosmic anxiety when I realize my limitations. Thanks.

    you are totally right...
the other night i was staring at the stars and rambling...
i felt so insignificant, but in a good way of that makes sense.
i felt like, we all have to look up at the stars... idk, it helped me put things into perspective and look at the big picture...

I once looked up at the sky and saw something like that, during an aurora borealis show, lines emanating from the zenith outwards. Didn't see any galaxies though, and to this day I had no idea what caused the effect.

I spent pretty much every day laying on the grass, looking at the sky after my friend died.
It always made me feel at peace with the world. Especially at night in the country where there aren't many lights to ruin it.
