I doubt i'll get any reply's in time, but it's worth a try. Anyone know anywhere that i can go deep into the woods and camp in wake county that isn't a state park. I'm trying to go camping tomorrow night but I don't want to have to get there by 9pm or whatever, and I don't really want any rangers coming and checking on me either...somewhere desolate
just park near some woods and venture out into them seeing if you can find a place to camp then mark the spot where you parked some how and come back to it later. Ive done it many times while road tripping with my friends
whats going on, i'm located in raleigh as well. I dont know if you know where umpstead is, but its right off off 70 less then 5 min away from rdu. its a awesome place to go but you could also give the falls lake area a try. Sorry if i caught this a little late yahoo spammed my reg forum.
