How weird is that....

Just thought I would share this coz I thought it was weird and kinda freaky...

Earlier this morning I was sitting here in front of the computer playing The Sims and all of a sudden I heard something pecking on the window.. (I had the shade open) and I turned around and saw the most beautiful Cardinal I had ever seen in my life pecking on the window... It was perched on this little bush that is growing outside of my window...It pecked on the window .. jee what seemed like a dozen or so times.... and in the middle of it I just got the feeling that it was my Grandma checking up on me...

My Grandma loved birds.. especially Cardinals, they were her favorite.

I take offense to that actually.. I was posting something genuine and heartfelt about my deceased Grandmother, whom I still love a great deal.. and that is all you can think to put? PORN! You couldn't just say.. "oh that is sweet", or "how cool is that" or some shit like that.. Argh.. You people I fucking swear.

sorry i didnt mean to offend. i lost my grandmother about a year ago but i was never that close to her so i wasnt hit that hard when i found out. in fact i've never really lost any one close to me so i dont know how that must've felt when you saw that bird. anyways sorry and whenever you see a cardinal you should try to think of your most heartfelt memory of her and hold on to it.

and thank you st. stephen for apologizing... I wasn't really meaning to go off on you, it was more id0317.. since he was the one that posted it.. You should treasure everyone you love, and spend as much time as you can with them.. because they won't be around for forever.. Even after 6 years (she died Aug 1, 2001) ... I still wish that I could go back and just talk to my grandma one more time, or heck.. even to just see her one more time... that would be awesome.

It's not really how I believe things are, you know... reincarnation. I belive more in something like the World or Universe is just one whole energy, but again... who says I'm right. The only truth is no one knows the truth.

With that being said, if we are one energy, your grandma could be the cardinal I guess after sometime thinkin' about it. Maybe things come the way you believe in them so that would be possible. Who knows, if you felt it, that should be right, no one has the right to shit on your reality since it's not their reality.

I hope it was her. Both for you, but also for me. My grandmother just died last christmas, a year after my grandfather.
I need to believe that there's something more after we've passed. That we don't just become some old photographs.. I think I need a break.

 

Probably it wasn't her, but she could somehow influence the bird... People we love are mostly to visit us when we sleep, don't they? There's no death... I'm sure. Too many examples of attempts of communication.

 

I think it's a beautiful thing. It's not uncommon for our loved ones on the other side to stop by and say hello. It's just a little sign that you're not forgotten, and that there's more to life after our body rests.

 

That's touching actually (sounds weird coming from me) and doesn't sound weird or bizarre at all.

 

when your relatives turn up from the beyond take note - it could be a warning, keep your eyes open and your wits about you.

 

It is very touching, and like someone said, although it wasn't your grandma; I think your grandma sent the bird as a sign she was watching over you- cause she knew you'd recognize it. i know how you feel, lost my grandma about 2 yrs ago; and still feels strange
