I know I made another thread about Bobert not too long ago, but what the Hell, he's Bob Dylan, I'll make another. I'd like to thank all the hipforums posters who recommended this album (Blonde on Blonde) to me, you were right, I do love it! I still prefer Highway 61 Revisited, but that's just me. "So I would not feel so all alone... Everybody must get stoned!" Have a nice day, and thanks you guys, Katie
People do tend to say that, however I disagree. Although it may be that I am just very very attached Highway 61 Revisited, I still think it's better.
Wow you've never heard Blonde on Blonde? You poor sheltered child. I think Blood on the Tracks is his best work. It's alot like Lester Bangs said, you won't like it until you have gotten into a fight with someone you love.
you really have to check out dylan, he's the best and most influential artist of the sixties. 'Blood On The Tracks' is my favourite dylan album too.
I was just listening to this one again, and wondering... was Bob having a little bit of girlfriend troubles when he made the album? Seems very filled with love songs. Good love songs, though, not the annoying kind.
No, no they aren't. John Wesley Harding falters towards the end and Nashville Skyline is too short, It may have my favorite Dylan song on it, but it's not that great of an album.
I like Bringing it All Back Home, Highway 61, Blonde on Blonde, and Desire best For some reason I hate Blood on the Tracks.
Blonde on Blonde is unbelievable and yep, i guess if i would ever be able to pick a favorite Zimmerman album, itd be this one. I really dig Blood on the Tracks and New Morning too. Dylan's fucking great though all the way around...i missed him this summer down in Lexington, KY.....was out in Arcata chillin out in the treez....just about 1 of the only things that can excuse missin Robert
love blonde on blonde my favourite Dylan song is Visions of Johanna off that album http://stores.musictoday.com/store/default.asp?band_id=381 is the link to his official store if anyone is interested
my favourtes r :Bringin it all back home, blood on the tracks, the times they are a changin'.... but i have to admit i may have overlistened to them... lately .. im seriously gettin addicted to "another side of bob dylan".. i dont spend 1 whole day without listening to it! damn!
