so glad i found this site;; i'm in desperate need of people to talk to who understand my beliefs my whole family are all hard-core republicans, as is most of my town. so, as you may be able to tell, its hard for me to find friends or people i can talk to
I'll bring you out some orange spice tea, light some candles and burn some nag champa as you settle into the pile of pillows I have strewn around the room. And we can get to know each other better. I am new here too and have always been hippy, gypsy, flowerchild inclined.[/FONT]
im from CT, a town with more cows than people not that i dont love the cows, they listen much better than most people, heh how about you all?
I'm in Lansing Michigan right now ... in a similar situation. I moved here for school but the only people I know are fellow grad students and faculty. I can't really chat about the things I really enjoy doing, and it's too risky to make my views known until I know some people better. Anywho ... ya know how it is. I grew up on a small ranch where there were more cows than people. Somehow though, I managed to find friends, party, and love. I am trying to actually pursue something right now, so I had to leave that behind, at least temporarily. I hope I can rebuild a life here. How old are you?
Where abouts is Lansing? My grandfather is from the UP of Michigan, and we spent most summers there when i was young. as for age, 22 as of tomarrow
Happy bday then. It's in the south of the LP, so far away from the UP ... although I hear it's beautiful up there. BTW: 26 yrs old here. Male ... originally from Missouri.
oh, so nowhere close to my beloved UP town of Wakefeild. heh yes its amazing up there. like a completely different world, its gorgeous. Sorry if i sound a bit ridiculous, haha, but i love it up there. So Missouri, hu? never been, whats it like?
