I'm a 16 year old guy living in the southern of Holland, and life sucks. I'm thinking of running away. I made some money working for a month, and I want to be free of all things and run away. Does anyone have any tips where to go, and how to?

    Love is everywhere,

    Pete

Get 18 and run away then... Then you should get some work maybe after school... Or something... Running away isn't good anyways...

work on a boat to get across the sea
    meet people
hold up a sign in many languages that says you'll cook for a place to stay
but you gotta be a good cook
learn some circus tricks to make money
    etc.

traveling is fun. I set out when I was 17

I'm afraid what my parents will do. Maybe they're going to call the police or something and I would be grounded for life. Does anyone know what to do?

i think if life sucked so bad, you wouldn't worry about being 'grounded for life'.
better make an attempt at freedom, fail, and have to go back to having a terrible life, than just go on being miserable.
so either your being a bit over-dramatic and your life is not so terrible that you are willing to risk running away, or your just nervous about the thought of running away.
if its just that your nervous, i say go for it.
if theres any possibility at all that your being over dramatic, stick it out and see what happens.

I understand you may feel this is the hardest thing you've ever had to do, but take it from me, I've been there. I've slept on concrete sidewalks, walked for days, begged for food, begged for work, and finally came to settle back near my hometown later on. I'm now 18, in a commited relationship, and happier than I've ever been. It gets tough, don't get me wrong, but if you come from the situation I was in, it was worth it. So much so that getting caught would have never stopped me. I'd just have done it again.
