MySpace Hypocrisy was a Blog Posted November 14, 2007 and deleted by the hypocrits on August 9, 2008 after I reported being hacked and they came into my page.

I Re-Posted it the same day with a new Subject: We Love MySpace Consistency in the hopes that sarcasm is invisible there.

I know there are 14-year-old ppl on the Hip Forum site and from the posts I've seen here, they will not be harmed or shocked in any way at viewing these pix, which are provided courtesy of MySpace which makes sure nothing inappropriate for a 14-year-old is available on their site (more sarcasm there)
    ----------------------------------------------------
Here was the message I received from MySpace on Nov 8, 2007

"We had to delete one of your photos

We had to remove an image (or images) from your account because they violated our Terms of Use. Our site is for people as young as 14, so we can't have certain kinds of pics (nude/sexually explicit, violence, material protected by copyright). Find out more about content we don’t allow here. If you continue to violate our Terms, we may be forced to remove your account.

You may feel singled out, but be assured that we delete each and every one of these images as we locate them. If you find an image which you feel is in violation of our Terms, please feel free to use the 'report image' link below the image.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    MySpace Safety & Security"

I had just taken a lot of pix on my birthday, because I was feeling frisky for an old man. Some were risqué, some were downright not to be posted on MySpace. (They are very popular on lifeOUT, which allows full frontal nude men with erections.

But, back to my censored pic. I couldn't figure out why such a relatively non-explicit pic would garner the attention of Tombot or the collective "we" in the message. It showed some of my pubic hair as my pants were being opened. It is the first of a series and did not show any flesh. Even the aforementioned 14-year-old has pubic hair!

My Censored Pic on MySpace (could harm 14-year-olds)

Yes, I did "feel singled out," just as was one of my friends who had pix of a baby (full frontal and butt shot) deleted. It makes no sense why, just as my own "Male Carrot" a vegetable anomaly that everyone found amusing, including my then 14-year-old grandson.

I know it is their (the collective again) Website, but there is no recourse or petition, or even a valid reason why the pic is removed. Who reported it. I know some fundamentalist, body-negative, god-fearing troglodyte from the deep south has access to MySpace. Do they just hit all profiles looking for pix to hit the 'report image' button. And, does a rational person even look at those reported images or is it just deleted by some bot and a message sent?

Anyhow I went to Free Pictures from MySpace Drewpydraws labeled Yummy Little Twinks. Now if these pix are being made available by MySpace, how come my pic got censored?

    Grabbin' crotch is OK.

To be continued in Part 2, only 4 pix are allowed per post here

MySpace Hypocrisy continues my Rant against MySpace censoring a blog that criticized them for deleting pix arbitrarily, while encouraging similar pix from their own site.

Pubes in the shower with wet pants are cleaner
    [IMG]

Or pubes at the beach (I really like this one)

    Bacchanalian Pubes
    [IMG]

    Or on the sidewalk

The only difference I can see between my pubes and those of all the acceptable MySpace pix is about 4 decades of age.

and yeah thats stupid if they deleted that pic.. nothing wrong with it.. if youre going to let your kids use the internet expect that they're going to see porn & gore and be exposed to the worst aspects of humanity.. a topless guy with unzipped jeans is harmless, especially if its on his own profile..

I may be wrong here but I'm almost positive that Myspace doesn't allow adults (over 18) to browse the accounts of underage members. I think that was done a couple of years ago because of some pedophile activity on there.

Anyway...if that's the case...why the hell don't they restrict underage users from browsing adult accounts? Seems to me that would eliminate the problem all together.

Then again, I could be talking out my ass. Which is usually the case.

U so smart U should own MySpace instead of Rupert Murdoch! :p

That is such a simple and effective solution to their lame excuse that we must self-censor for the 14-year-old users on the site. Not that it would prevent any kid from saying they were 18 (like my grandson was doing since he was 14 - He's now the age he claims.)

Shale, I don't think your pic should have been deleted, and I like FunHogg's idea. It would make things so much easier for us, as the adult community. [IMG]

Oh, BTW, I mentioned the "male carrot" that they deleted twice now. Here it is:

I'm not going to try reposting it again on MySpace. They don't delete pix, they hold them prisoner somewhere, just so you can't repost them. I had to rescan my carrot pic and post that the second time.

Hmmm, maybe I could take this and export it as a gif or something and repost it under their bot guard's nose.

So far the rules here seem REASONABLE.

I was referring to hypocrisy, not a consistently applied rational rule. MySpace is completely arbitrary with it's amorphous rules.

You may have thought that about Myspace till your postings were curbed.
I can see where you are coming from.
But if myspace were half the things you say, none of that stuff would be on myspace.

You have just lucked out, but that is life.

you just need to change the checksum, don't even rescan it, open it in windows paint, "paint" the corner pixel black (over black) and save it as a jpeg, checksum will be different, you can do it as many times as you want.

Thanx. Like everything else I know about computers it was from first hand instruction.

    Now, This Just In

I just found out that The Naturist Society has a MySpace account. Been a member for a couple decades now. So, they added me and I wanted to make an appropriate pic to comment with.

This pic is full frontal - so I knew not to put it in my fotos on MySpace. I cropped it for display but it took the secret powers at MySpace just half an hour do delete it.

Now, this pic doesn't show many pubes, just a bit of hair below the navel. For all they know I'm wearing a Bikini pulled down a bit (I ain't - but they can't see that). I really have my doubts that a nudist org can have a page on MySpace when you can't even post a pic with the word "nude" in it.

Maybe you should consider deleting your myspace account? I mean, if you don't agree with their policies, and I highly doubt they will change, what good is it going to do to keep it. I mean, sure, you could keep it, but if you were going to do that, you might as well just accept that your pictures are unacceptable, for whatever reason, on their site and stop posting them.
