Anyone else dig Chevelle?

I never did until a couple days ago. They have an almost TooL sound to them. Granted, I'm only a couple songs into their first album, but I'm liking it

i'm pretty sure whatever song they have on the radio annoys me. i don't know what song it is, but i know i associate the name chevelle with crappy music, so i'm assuming that's what it is. i could be wrong though; i generally assume all bands i hear mentioned on the radio are crappy unless i already know who they are, and i may have just not actually heard chevelle.

even if i did, most bands use their worst song as their first radio single, so that wouldn't be a good indicator either...

 

I assumed the same thing, until I was listening closer the other day to some internet radio, and they played a really kick ass tune. don't know which one. still trying to find it.

Hahaha, I met the lead singer of Chevelle in the parking lot of the Blockbuster in Round Lake a few years ago.

He was kind of a dick.

Then again, my friend was completely starstruck and wouldn't leave him alone.

They formed in Grayslake which is like 10 miles from where I live.
