Anyone having any luck catching fish this summer? At the begining of the summer I caught about a dozen or so pickeral(Walleye) for a good snack; but as of late I haven't had a chance to go. Lets hear how everyone else is doing. KDB
My (former) coworkers and I took a friend's 40' downeast out on the Chesapeake for the opening day of Rockfish season. We had 8 people, 2 crew and 10 rods up and drew numbers to see what order we would go as we got fish on. I drew second to last and pulled #1. I warned them to do over because I have a black cloud when it comes to open water fishing. They didn't listen... Two hours out I had one bite, slipped my tension, lost him and that was the day. Six hours later we motored back in empty-handed. On the boat, on the dock or on the beach that was the only bite I've had this year. Some people should listen when I tell them things .
This is a messed up post.. Fishing for me sucks... I catch fish in like 10 min.. I get bored fast. Fuzk it. Then I leave in 45 min.. after catch at least 5 fish. I guess its cool but little lakes and stuff by me small mouths, plenty of stupid pan fish. good crappies in this other loc. Wallies?. havent been doing live baits but they are good here running eiredeerys worms..
I've been catching some trout out of a mountain river lately. Their so much better than what you get in a resturant.
