Anyone got one here? Thinking about getting one, as for a long time i thought they were mainly for the suits, but lately they look pretty nice and slimmer too than older models. - Interface looks nice too - played with it on http://www.princeorpretender.com and the GPS thing rocks. Really would like to hear if anyone here has one and what they think of it though?

Yea the iPhone by Apple has GPS and built-in, 100% Internet with Google Earth/maps that will show you where you are. If you can afford, def get an iPhone. So much available for iPhones and they are so easy to use. Pics, music, movies, etc. The touch screen is the best, no stylus pen, one handed, made of glass.

    I want one.

I heard word of a touchscreen Blackberry in the making? I didn't get a specific date; but if it's not too far into the future I think it would be way worth the wait instead of an iphone.

I dunno I kind of like pressing BUTTOns that I can see and don't get smudgy glare shit on them.

A touchscreen Blackberry (the "Thunder") is supposed to launch in Q308.

I've been using a Pearl for about a year, I used one for a while a few years ago too. Its a work phone, so I have to use it, and plus there's some work related apps on it I couldn't run on any other phone.

I don't like it much. It has everything - phone, MP3, camera, internet, email, but other than email it doesn't really do anything well. The worst part of it is the operating system, everything is difficult and clumsy. And it the trackball thingy stopped working properly after only about 9 months. Now its broken completely and I gave up on it. Battery life was never that great either, plus it had no wifi or 3G or GPS (I guess the new ones have GPS, don'e know about 3G or wifi).

My girlfriend has an iPhone, and there's just no comparison. The iPhone is miles and miles ahead and with the 2.0 software and app store I think its getting better all the time. Also wifi on the iPhone is more handy than you would think, even if you have 3G. Its a lot faster and you'll get more chances to use it than you would expect.

Even though blackberry wants to be a consumer product I don't think it really works as one. I'd be a lot happier with an iPhone.

Blackberry Internet is OK if you are in an EVDO area; the GPS sucks on it.
