New Girl here - HI and how are ya?

Hello - my name is Vic, I stumbled on this site doing a search for recipes for people with a lot of allergies, and I was happy to see such a great cross section of people and topics.

I am from New York City - born and bread - I was just married in May, we live in Queens where I am writing a novel. My husband is an Editor for a major news conglomerate - but I don't hold that against him !

I am interested in posting in the Pagan, Allergy and a few other forums - I feel like this is going to be a supportive community of like minded folks. And I hope to contribute a bit.

EDIT* I forgot to mention I am a registered Dem - BUT I feel like an outsider because with the exception of 2 or three people close top me , no one cares whats happening to this country cause it doesn't directly affect them- and usually vote against their own best interests. (if they vote at all)

I am an ardent Obama supporter - but will never force my beliefs down your throat.
