How many times do guys get boners in one day?

Speaking to a male friend of mine, he was just recently dumped for freaking her out by his erection. Er.. less of the erection itself, more of how many times he got hard. He said it was anywhere from 10-15 times a day, not necessarily for any specific reason, and he did not 'take care of business' that many times, either.

I never really thought about that before. How often do you guys get hard?

 

Well, numerous but at age 50 not 10-15 times a day! Maybe 4-6 depending on what I see during the day.

 

Oh hell when I was in my 20s I probably got at least 10 - 15 boners a day easy. For no reason at all it would just get hard.

 

It depends and if your not "taking care of business" i guarantee the numbers going to be higher.

 

Yeah, as guys get older they have a bit more control of that. In high school it was ricockulous how often it happened. But these days it pretty much depends on what I am doing and if I want to get one... hahaha

Check into how often it happens during sleep. It might scare you.

I find it quite common to discover I have an erection without realising it (if that doesn't seem like a contradiction).

This being the case, I imagine I actually have far more erections than I would actually be concious of.

The thing is that erections aren't only caused by sexual arousal, be it concious or unconciously, but by many other things, such as contact with clothing (although that may be considered as sexual stimulation arousal), the need to urinate, surges in hormone levels (hence the increased number of uncontrollable erections during puberty & adolescence). Erections, and horniness in general, can even be affected by seasons of the year, weather conditions / air temperature, or even phases of the moon.

As far as the girl being concerned about the frequency of the erections, it's also quite possible that she could be the one at fault, as it should be remembered that we are no more than just another species of animal on this planet, and we have the same natural instincts & senses that we may not even be aware of & could easily be reacting to the scent of the female pheremones. To put ourselves above such base animal instincts is, quite frankly, nothing short of arrogance.

Eh, he actually got dumped for this? How ridiculous. Getting hard that many times per day does not mean he could perform that many times a day.

 

At least 10 daily, if you don't take care of them.

 

On a day when I don't masturbate, I can't keep count, it just goes up and down all the time. On a day when I've done it early in the morning, probably like 10.

i have alot of control though.

Oh countless times. When I wake up I have one, when I go to sleep I usually have one, it just pops up randomly. But what really sucks is when you get one at school/work, or at a social event. You just get so embarrassed and wonder how to get rid of it as quick as possible

But masturbating seems to reduce the number a little.
