If you are concerened about our democracy, and our basic human rights to having our voice heard in this upcominng election, then please click on the link below, to sign the following petition:

To: The Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard, Leader of the Opposition, Mark Latham, the Programming Department at Channel 9, Australia and 60 Minutes at Channel 9, Australia.

We, the undersigned, are greatly concerned about the lack of representation that Green & Democrat voters will receive on the Candidates’ Debate, to be held on 60 Minutes on Channel 9. It is estimated that there will be close to a million individuals voting for the Australian Greens and hundreds of thousands for the Democrats at this upcoming election; we are not a minority group.

We ask for the right to explain and defend our polices, challenge each other’s policies and to have our voices heard in front of millions of viewers and voters, the same way that the Liberal and Labor parties do. Our country is after all, a democracy.
