growing outdoors in Davis California

Im trying to grow and I have about 30 seeds
Davis is near sacramento, its like 85-95 degrees here, and humidity is around 40% which is good from what I heer

I know there have been tons of the threads on the same subject but I just keep finding bad info

can someone guide me through the simple steps to growing?

I have a few places where I can grow as well
-dried riverbed
-next to a creek
-next to a farm in a desolate patch of weeds (but close to irrigation)
-behind some bushes in a nearby park

Which is the best idea?

 

The best place is the least visited by others, most isolated, most shielded from view place you can find. A good way to decide whether or not the place you selected is reasonably well isolated is to take a five dollar bill and nail it to a branch in plain view. Then. leave it for a month. If its still there when you come back, it MIGHT be a good place.

Ahah that whole money Idea sounds reasonable. Its probley why I found 5$ out in the middle of the woods a couple months ago at a old campsite probably 1-2 miles out in the woods.
