if you take your lose hairs and wrap them around your dreads really really tight, could they possibly find their way inside the dread they are wrapped around? anyone do this or anything similar?

nah i just leave em be wrappin em around really tight wont help em move and knot if theyre shirt and not really near others to knot will they probly wont anyway loose hairs are no big deal noone notices them but you
just lkeave em alone and they'll find where they wanna be or just hang out where they are
if u deerp cleanse often u might get lil fuzzy but thats ok
otherwise if u dont then they wont be too fuzzy and most hairs will find a home all on theyre own

So long hairs should just naturally find the dreadlock thats in their neighborhood and move in?

I have the same problem, Ive only had my dreads for a few days and Im getting alot of fly-aways.
Now im really really careful about putting on my headband an am afraid to go to sleep.
Is this normal for new dreads?
BTW i was dreaded-up by hooking loose hairs with a crochet needle to form the dread, i dunno if this is how its done in other places (dreadhead from the Philippines).

yeah i was wondering to if the hairs would find their way to their neighbors as well i know the little ones probably will but i dunno about the long ones. of course im still trying to understand how hair dreads i mean like a scientific micro explaination of it, i find this whole process interesting and the whole journey as you guys call it has been really good for me. it hasnt all been fun but ive found myself with more courage and more patience than i had before already. even though my hair is dready now and not beautiful and luxiurious like it was i feel i am overall a better and more humble person.

in hephiliines and alotta places making dreads almost always means dammaging techniqes wether is backcombing waxng or crochetting
asain hair dreads just as easily as a other if left alone

    how hair dreads 101
when u wash yor air u get knots
if left alkone these knots become more complex knots grabbing more and more hair
evntualy the hairs become so bound together dreads foem out of the nots tha tend o tighten and combine with ther knots

if you take an extentioncord or rope and instead of neatly coiling it after use u just toss it in as heap in a box what do u find when u take it out again? its all knotted up if u dont unknot it but keep tosing it in a heap in a box over and over eventualy the entire cord becomes 1 massive complex knot

basicly thats how dreads form movement and compression and neglect the hair moves when u wash it this creates interlocking loops and twists its compressed when u wear woopl hats or sleep on it or by its own weight that orces the lkoop to close i on eachother and tighten
neglect simply means you don inknot the knots as they form

loose hairs and fly away fuzz that covers dreads are just the ends of hairs that come loose from washing alot really short ones may never find much to grab onto or knot with but who cares they are only noticible buy you
if they are long then your dreads must be new they wuill find somewhere they wanna bve and knot up fine
most dreads are covered with a fine fuzz thats normal, african hair ecause of the tightness of thecurls that fuzz doesnt usualy show up, because if there are loose hairs sticking out the tight curls make em rejoin th dread pretty muchto the very end of the hai
most other hair types though will have some fuzziness that escapes the dread especialy when very clean..its nothing to worry about though
youve seen my pics from a few feet away u cant trell at all that they are completely fuzzy because i deep cleanse so often..

you tend to be more hypercritical of your own dreads then others. and find each and every mispaced hair and think its a huge problem

it isnbt we all have em

    dont worry bout it
