It's an old Seneca or Hopi prophecy? a native one i'm sure, but what were the actuall words that foretold of this? I mean, they spoke of when the earth suffered a tribe of all people would come forward and save the earth and be called warriors of the rainbow... Did it say that these warriors would be nonviolent ohming vegans? did it say they'd be leather clad alcoholics? did it say they'd be lazy vacationing yuppy bliss ninnies? the world may never know.
actually, there wa sa thread here going right before nationals about the legend, I think we found a few, I bet it could still be dug out... seems to me that there's alot of focusing on the negative ascpect of rainbow, not commenting on whether or not it's good, because I have mixed feelings on it but I still love you all :0)
i used to go to gatherings. then i realized i smelled bad, and now i think the family sucks and thier mad fuckin gay! but it will be incorporated soon so no big deal
Not everyone in Rainbow Family could be considered a Rainbow warrior, no. And not everyone who considers themselves a warrior is one. But those who love all the members of their tribe, (regardless of their behaviour, attitudes or style of dress) who withhold judgement and uphold the value of unity may very likely be Rainbow Warriors.
