not sure if i'm posting this in the right place or not??? but i just received my first deck of cards - the herbal tarot, by michael tierra & candis canten.... & i was wondering if anyone uses this deck & could offer some friendly advice for a beginner is there a good general tarot book i should acquire??? any help at all would be appreciated thanks in advance, jos
Yes, this is the right place to post this. Here is a good website that might answer many of your questions. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/index.html It has info on many decks, books, web links, etc. I also suggest doing a web search for what you're looking for. I use the Thoth Deck. It is different than yours and is read somewhat differently. So, I can't give any specific advice for starting out with yours. Except to say, enjoy your journey into enlightenment. I once briefly met Micheal Tierra through a friend of mine in Santa Cruz, CA, where I used to live. I only knew him as an herbalist. I had no idea he was also into the Tarot. Interesting!
