not sure how many of you watch the series, but the most recent episode (#10, aired on monday) included the partaking of Nancy and estoban in ayahuasca. obviously there is a difference between watching and actually participating, but does anyone experienced have an opinion of the show's portrayal?
sorry to go off topic but is that show anygood? is there any drug use in the show other than cannabis?
theres not actually much drug use in the show per say. its more about things drug related. one character's addicted currently, theres an underground passage smuggling crates from mexico through her store (its a front), her brother in law is helping smuggle mexicans across the border while teaching about jews/moses...etc
this season is the only season so far where i think you see other drugs being used besides cannabis.. other seasons/episodes have involved other drugs though..
Breaking Bad on AMC has similar themes as Weeds, but much better in my opinion. They are about to have a second season of it. The basis is a straight-edge high school chemistry teacher who is barely supporting his family financially finds out he has inoperable lung cancer. He decides to "break bad" and starts making meth to provide some money for his family after he dies. It stars Brian Cranston and the character interaction, themes, and visual direction are outstanding. It's my favorite show on regular cable. Can't wait for season two, you all should check it out.
