I have a terrible sense of time, but i know i got my dreads around 420, so they're at least 4 months old. I recently got a job as a dishwasher at a restaurant. I have to tie my hair back and stuff the majority of the ponytail down the back of my shirt, and wear a hair net and a hat on top of that. I'm constantly shoving the loose hair back down my shirt, this goes on every few seconds for around 6 hours every night. My hair, consequently, has begun natting up like a motherfucker. and the ends of the dreads at the sides and back of my head form these ridiculous loops. I personally love the way they look, so i took some pictures of the really cool ones.

I also combed out the dread in front of my face and made it into a braid instead.

My hair is reeeeeaaaaalllly dirty here. It's cuz i've been working every day this week and whenever i shower it gets fucked up again from working in the dirty ass dish pit.

so let me know what you think.

they look ROCKIN awesome. way cool loopies! i love it! just curious though, what made you want to do the braid in the front? it looks cool, but what are you gonna do with it when the hair grows out? just let that part dread, or what?

I do the same with my front ones, when I have tiny little locks at the front, sometimes they join, sometimes they don't, I plait them. I read an account of someone saying plaited hair dreads the quickest and the neatest (but that was only his experience). I love the pics anyway, your hair looks really good. I like seeing Loops, just so I know my hair's doing it's own thing, ya know? Like The loops are there so I know all is well!

Keep it up man, the picture's hot!
