    Fucking excellent.

    Who agrees?

    And their new masks.

    Better or worse?

If your talking about Slipknot, I gotta say its better than what they've put out in the past, but its still pretty bad.

I think that its chorus sucks and Coreys new mask sucks and that Shawn should have saved his last one but new one is cool too. All Hope Is Gone is a little worse song... Still Slipknot atleast.

I can't get into slipknot at all. They should shave down to 3-4 members and try again...

Actually there is nothing wrong with the number of members in the band as they all might have good ideas but it is that some are listened more than others so the album is made practically by half people... They should just listen to others ideas too than just Corey's...

im not really a slipknot fan, never have been
but i will say that New Slipknot is better then most of their old music
they only really make about 1 or 2 good songs per album...

I downloaded their new album about yesterday and i must say that it is okey but if you didn't like them before you probably wont like them now... Some songs sounded way more like Stone Sour than Slipknot. I liked the opening track "Execute" as it was promising... Second song called "Gematria (The Killing Name)" sounded like some cheap metalcore until Corey started to sing but his voice was too silent... There was a cool riff in the middle though... And in it's end there was a part which sounded very similiar with "Heretic Anthem" from their older album...I liked it's gringish parts in it though ^^ I like "Suffer"'s beginning but it turns into something similiar with yet another old Slipknot song... You'll know when you hear it ^^ It's chorus is solid though and the solo was good but again too quiet... I won't comment Psychosocial as this has been done and if you are reading this than probably heard too ^^ "Dead Memories" is the one which sounded more like Stone Sour than Slipknot. Vendetta sounds really heavy in beginning but then in a minute or so it turns to Stone Sour again which then morphs again into some heavy stuff and then again back to Stoney... "Butchers Hook" sounds good imo and is maybe even my favourite on the album but i can hear a similiariti to "Don't Get Close" or so in the middle of it."Gehenna" has a great doomy sound which i like and which reminds me Estonian doom metal band Dawn Of Gehenna which i liked some time ago ^^ It is also good to hear influence of the first albums on this track... Also it is one of my favourites off of this album. "This Cold Black" sounds like i have already heard before and is really Knotish... Not that good one although."Wherein Lies Continue" is a solid track again. I like the vocals on it... "Snuff" is an acoustic song and good one imo... You probably have heard "All Hope Is Gone" too and i won't comment on it more than that i don't like it... Off to bonus tracks... "Child Of Burning Time" is a Stoney'ish song but quite good anyways. "Vermillion Pt2(Bloodstone Mix)" is a really softened version of already a soft acoustic song but it isn't bad... "Till We Die" is a quite good half acoustic song... I would give it 7/10 but it is just my opinion... It could have been waaay better but is solid... And very Stone Sour like...

you know this song is heavy as fuck, and the first few times i heard it on the radio i liked it. then i realized that it's a) overplayed, and b) awful lyrically and vocally. it's always embarassing to put on the local rock station when i'm at work and have this song come on, making people think i enjoy it.
