Ultrasound pics!

So i got some 4D pics today at the doctor's and found out it's a boy! What stand out to me are the chubby chubby cheeks and big lips and i think it has a cleft chin! it also has my family's nose i think, but it also just looks like a baby nose so we'll see.

Wooo, he does have the Lily family nose, but maybe the Moose family chin, heh we'll see.

 

I told Elyse It was a boy .. And to name him Kyle HAHAHAHA

Did you request a special 4-D ultrasound or was it the standard?

I actually wasn't expecting the 4D at all, the technician just did it anyway, so I was really pleasantly surprised. most of the ultrasound was regular 2D (?) and then she focused on the face for a bit and converted it to 4D on the side. Soo cool. I was also very happy to find out what the gender is. I thought if I didn't find out yesterday I probably wouldn't know until the birth (though most people were saying boy anyway). I'm super excited to finish decorating and pulling stuff out of storage and sorting through hand-me-downs, haha. and picking a name and then finally meeting him. It feels soo close, only 2 1/2 more months. crazyness...

I can't believe you are so close to having the baby! The time does go by fast, huh? Soon you and Charles will be PARENTS! What are you wanting to decorate the baby room like?

 

Yep, I got on medicaid, i just have to keep my income under a certain level. I've seen the doctor once and then the ultrasound tech once so far.

the time definitely does go by fast! I think i'm going to do the room in blues and yellows and the crib furniture is white. I decided not to go with a theme. I just have to make sure not to get too girly with it.. haha. My mom and stepdad kept practically everything from my little sis so i lucked out and have strollers and furniture and stuff. and then we have friends of the family who have a 2 yr old boy too so I'll probably get lots of hand-me-downs from them.

I really need to get working because I'm already getting too tired and lazy to want to do stuff, lol.

 

The room sounds adorable. AND you are very lucky, so lucky for hand-me-downs. If I was there I would so hold you a baby shower as well!

Getting tired? Uh oh... I keep hearing this happens that is why I am trying hard to get things done now because I will be in school until December 12! I am hoping my mom will come and help!

i have to go get my blood sugar test this week... the doc said sometimes when the baby is so big it's because the mom has gestational diabetes... i'm hoping that's not the case. my mom had all big babies so she doesn't think i do. bleh.. hopefully everything's fine!

 

i'm sure that if your mom had big babies... you'll have big babies as well... that's where the size is determined, maternal side...

i was 10 lbs. when i was born... and i had an almost 10 lbs. baby...

i'm sure that everything is fine...

I was also 10 lbs when I was born, but I'm huge! i mean i really have gained more weight than average, so hopefully it's not a sign of anything bad... everything else is good-blood pressure etc.

due date is Nov. 11 scorpio baby like my mom and sister

 

well.... i believe i gained about 60 pounds when i was pregnant... so... yeah... i know about gaining more weight than average....

excellent about the due date... I'm a scorpio, my son's father is a scorpio and my son is a scorpio... INTENSE... that's all I'll say....

 

hehehe, well i get along wonderfully with my mom and sis (both sisters actually, but the other is a leo) so i don't think it will be a problem charles is a cancer and i'm taurus so hopefully we all balance each other out.

i mean obviously, regardless of what our signs are i hope we have a happy life together...

i'm getting nervous... i'm really glad i'm not doing it all alone, but sometimes it kinda feels like it with charles being so far away for the pregnancy.

were you able to lose the weight after the baby? I'm sorry if that's too personal of a question... i know weight makes me super insecure... if i continue to gain as i have, i'll have gained about 65 lbs by the end... i'm trying to count calories now, but it's freakin tough when i'm hungry and craving sweets and am home all the time.

 

Aww Elyse don't be nervous about the weight gain. I am back in school with freshmen half my size and I have gained 12 lbs! I am getting huge I feel it already.... but I am learning to let it go a little.... I still feel so insecure because I am back at school and already feel fat....

Yeah Scarlett I don't want to be to personal either but did it take a long time? I will be in my wedding five and half months after giving birth.... I don't want to be a fatty pants in a dress.

Also, it is so true if you were a big baby and your mom was then you'll have a big baby! Baby's daddy was big but I wasn't....
